Work Smarts

Knowledge to navigate your worksite

Open to ages 18+

As we enter the more complex working world, there are new social norms we need to become aware of in order to maintain self-esteem and ensure neurodiversity is embraced. Self-awareness and self-advocacy are imperative skills in order to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors and be a valuable team member.

Learning Objective: Instructor led curriculum based sessions with emphasis on open and informative discussion around social norms found in typical business environments, how social norms at work differ from school and home and how self-awareness and self advocacy can support employment goals.

Who's a good fit:

Young adults seeking employment, or those currently working who desire to de-mystify and effectively navigate social situations they may encounter in the working world.
